My second children's book was just published and won a Pinnacle Book Achievement Award. I a mso thrilled. The book is called" "The Wiener Dog and the Bear", Poems for children ages 2 to one hundred. It has humorous poems and whimsical illustrations about a dachshund, an unforgettable "Wiener Dog" and a very special cat, plus some other critters. The book was written to make the reader smile!! I read my book "When I Was Little To The Old Country" to children at Jupiter, Florida's, elementary schools suc has All Saints and Turtle River Montessori School. The children loved the book and asked many interesting questions pertaining to my "Simple Llife" childhood without TV, computers, ready-made foods or even a car. They loved the book and many wanted to purchase it to take home. I donated books to the school's libraries. It was a wonderful experience.

I did readings in both All Saints Elementary School and Montessori Schools in Jupiter. The children were very interested and asked many questions after the reading. It was fascinating to hear the various questions mostly to do with with the simple life I lead as a child without the so-called luxuries of today's life.
